Vegan cello bow!

An interesting new arrival, we have been ‘test driving’ this bow today.

Weighing 78g it is made with non animal components (see below for full details). It lifts responsively off the string and gives a generously warm tone at the upper and lower half.

Synthetic Hair is more durable than horse Hair and less sensitive to the changes produced by fluctuations in temperature and humidity.

Bow Stick is made of carbon fibre, a material that is more resistant and long-lived than wood, and that reacts very little to changes in temperature or humidity. Thanks to the high strength of the material, it greatly minimises the risk of breaking the rod, as well as maintaining a very constant elasticity. It has very good acoustic properties, being able to provide a fast and clear sound.
